Hollande does not rule out new terror attacks

Baku. Rufat Ahmadzada – APA. French President François Hollande has said terror attacks may be repeated in the country.

François Hollande who leads the operation launched in order to detain suspects of the terror attack on the office of the magazine Charlie Hebdo said France is a country that wants to strengthen peace, APA reports citing Sabah.

“The attackers have not yet been captured. The operation continues. We’re doing our utmost to protect the country,” said the French president.

He said some intelligence information has been obtained since December, warning that France is likely to face new attacks.

“After these attacks, there will be protests in various regions. Security has to be ensured in those places, and the nation must demonstrate their position against terrorism. Protests are also being held in villages, not just in Paris. Everyone must unite against terrorism. France is a mighty country, and we will protect our citizens,” he added.
