A phone conversation took place between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, APA reports.
Erdoğan has stated that resolving disagreements over Iran's nuclear issue must be achieved through negotiations.
The Turkish President stated that the conflict, which began with Israel’s attack on Iran, has brought the threat to the region’s security to the limit. The Turkish leader added that the events in the region, as well as the possibility of a nuclear leak, will pose a threat to the region.
He said his country will continue efforts to end the confrontation and restore stability.
