Russian forces attacked Sumy region on May 14, targeting industrial infrastructure, according to the city’s military administration, APA reports citing United 24 Media.
In Sumy, a missile strike hit an industrial facility. Mayor Artem Kobzar confirmed the explosion heard by residents was the result of this attack. Later, the head of the Regional Military Administration Oleh Hryhorov reported that one person was killed and seven were injured, three of them critically.
In addition, during the night of May 14 the Russian military carried out an airstrike on the town of Vorozhba, damaging residential buildings and critical infrastructure.
