OSCE Chair-in-Office calls on Armenia and Azerbaijan to maintain momentum in peace discussions

OSCE Chair-in-Office, Minister for Foreign and European Affairs and Trade of Malta Ian Borg has made a post on his X account regarding with his meeting with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, APA reports.

He wrote that opinions were exchanged on the efforts to establish peace in the South Caucasus of the organization he led, as well as, the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, including the delimitation and demarcation of borders: “Recently announced border demarcation agreement with Armenia is a step in the right direction. We encourage the two countries to maintain momentum in peace discussions, for the benefit of the people. Malta is committed to the ideas of strengthening organisation's resilience, and areas of collaboration in the run up to COP29 during its chairmanship period of the OSCE,” - OSCE Chair-in-Office said.
