Kurtulmus warned that Israel’s actions are dragging the world into an uncertain confrontation: “At a time when a peace perspective has started to emerge among all parties in the region—for example, efforts for peaceful resolution in the South Caucasus, Iran beginning nuclear talks with the International Atomic Energy Agency, and discussions about peace between Russia and Ukraine—Israel’s sudden attempt to shift the agenda and undermine prospects for regional peace is a path we strongly condemn. This is not the right course,” he added.
