The fire that broke out in the shopping center near the Vagzal Square metro station in Tbilisi has been extinguished, said Levan Museliani, the head of the Fire and Rescue Department, APA reports, citing Sputnik-Georgia.
He stated that 30 fire trucks were involved in containing the blaze.
According to preliminary information, the incident started in a shoe store located in the center and quickly spread to cover an area of 15,000 square meters.
The cause of the incident is under investigation.
