Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Rafael Grossi will meet with Vladimir Zelensky due to the situation at the Zaporizhia Nuclear Power Plant (NPP), this was stated by Grossi during a visit to Kurchatov, APA reports citing Oreanda-News.
Grossi announced a meeting with Zelensky in Kiev next week. He announced plans to discuss the situation at the nuclear power plant, as well as the presence of IAEA inspectors at various nuclear facilities in Ukraine.
"We have a number of things that I would like to discuss with him. We will talk about the situation at the Zaporizhia NPP," the Director of the IAEA stressed. He stressed that the main issue during the meeting would be the possibility of maintaining the dialogue between Russia and Ukraine.
Earlier, Grossi warned about the consequences of external influence on the Kursk NPP. He stressed that under no circumstances should the nuclear power plant be the object of military operations.
