At least 180 people were detained during the protests against the "foreign influence" law in Georgia from April 15 to May 17, said the Information of the Public Defender (Ombudsman) of Georgia, APA reports.
It was noted that representatives of the Public Defender visited 180 arrested persons during this period, and 93 of them had signs of police violence.
Overall, 382 calls were received to the institution's Hotline.
