Tamar Taliashvili, a member of the Georgian parliament from the Georgian Dream (GD) party, is nominated for the post of Georgia’s Ambassador to the United States, APA reports citing Georgian Public Broadcatser.
Taliashvili’s candidacy has been submitted to President Mikheil Kavelashvili for approval under Article 52 of the Constitution of Georgia, specifically under the subparagraph “On the Rule of Government Structure, Duties, and Activities,” as of July 10, 2025.
Tamar Taliashvili, a Georgian politician, has been a member of the 10th convocation of the Parliament of Georgia, representing the party list of the election bloc Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia since 2020.
