France supports the signing of the agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan soon, which will respect both countries' sovereignty and territorial integrity, and serve a just and sustainable peace in the region, Minister of Foreign Affairs of France, Stéphane Séjourné said during a joint press conference with his Armenian counterpart, Ararat Mirzoyan, APA reports.
"The purpose of the Almaty Declaration signed in 1991, was precisely this. That exact idea was presented to the broad political community in Prague in 2022. Of course, at a time when the important principles I mentioned above are violated by Russia in Ukraine, it is extremely important to achieve peace in the region."
