EU foreign ministers met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi in Geneva, and after a three-hour meeting said they were interested in further talks, APA reports citing Reuters.
"We must keep dialogue with Iran open," said EU Foreign Minister Kaja Kallas.
British Foreign Secretary David Lammy stated: "We are pleased to continue ongoing discussions with Iran, and we call on them to continue talks with the US."
French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot addressed Iran's support for terrorist organizations and Russia, claiming: "A diplomatic initiative should pave the way for negotiations."
