European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell described on Friday Germany's reported plan to reduce the amount of aid allocated to Ukraine, as it is undergoing Russia's military operation, as a source of concern, APA reports citing BBN.
Speaking at the Quo Vadis Europa event in Santander, Borrell cited the matter as "bad news." "Until now, without making a lot of noise, the strongest support of Ukraine has been Germany. So you can say we have to do something different. But for the time being, what we are doing is being done mainly by Germany," he explained.
