At least six people were hurt after a car drove into a crowd in the southwestern Germany city of Stuttgart, according to a police spokesperson, APA reports citing The Bild newspaper.
"The exact number of those injured has not yet been specified. Some are seriously injured," the spokesperson said.
The incident occurred near a commuter train station in the Olgaeck district at about 5:50 p.m. local time (3:50 p.m. GMT). The driver was detained. The area was cordoned off.
So far, it is not known whether it was an accident or the driver acted willfully.
