World communities should force Russia to make peace and implement the UN's resolutions, the Ukrainian ambassador to Azerbaijan, Yuriy Husyev, said at a briefing held at the embassy, APA reports.
He stated that 106 countries have confirmed their participation in the Peace Summit to be held in Switzerland: "We will discuss ways to ensure sustainable peace with our partners. At the same time the inadmissibility of using nuclear weapons, the use of marine resources, the return of illegally arrested and deported Ukrainian citizens, as well as the implementation of UN resolutions on peace will be discussed here. Russia's military aggression started in 2014. 3,404 people were killed and more than 300 thousand people were injured in this period. According to the information available today, the actions of the Russian armed forces have caused the country more than USD 500 billion in damages. At the same time, 163,000 square kilometers of our territory have been occupied."
