More than 43% of energy demand has been met and 62% of substations have been restored, Spain’s Environment Minister Sara Aagesen said tonight on social media, APA reports citing CNN.
“We continue working on restoring supply. We will keep you updated on progress,” Aagesen posted on Bluesky.
Spain’s grid operator REE said in a previous statement that electricity supply is available in parts of these regions:

- The Basque Country
- Galicia
- La Rioja
- Asturias
- Navarre
- Castile and León
- Extremadura
- Andalusia
