Chinese businessmen intend to invest new investments in Azerbaijan, and negotiations in this regard are nearing completion, Azerbaijan’s Trade Representative in China, Teymur Nadiroghlu told journalists, APA-Economics reports.
“The trade house in Beijing is one of only seven trade houses located in six cities in China. Trade houses, in general, are just one of the tools we use to promote Azerbaijani products and showcase our tourism potential to attract investment to our country. But it is a very effective tool. We can regularly showcase Azerbaijani products here throughout the year. Many tasting events take place in this space. Many Chinese businessmen who are interested in Azerbaijani products visit it in Beijing, get acquainted with the products. But one of the main goals is also to attract investment to our country,” said Teymur Nadiroghlu.
According to him, Chinese partners have invested in Azerbaijan's trade houses operating in Beijing and other cities, and they also manage these houses.
“It is also very important for us that China’s large companies, by operating these trade houses, are making great efforts to expand the sales channels of Azerbaijani products in various cities in China, and they are also doing great work to attract investment to our country,” Teymur Nadiroğlu said.
He emphasized that a delegation of businessmen, attracted by these trade houses, visited Azerbaijan. Already, those businessmen who visited Azerbaijan at the end of last year are now intending to invest new investments in our country, and these negotiations are nearing completion.
