Up to 2 bln. cubic meters of gas was pumped into Azerbaijan's underground storages this year in preparation for the autumn-winter season, said Rasim Ahmadov, Head of Regime Control and Central Dispatch Department of SOCAR "Azerigas" PU said during the "Open door" campaign, APA reports.
“This will allow us to provide consumers with uninterrupted gas according to the demand during sharp temperature changes in the autumn-winter season,” the head of the department noted
According to him, all the necessary work has been carried out by "Azerigas" in accordance with the plan for preparations for the autumn-winter season.
“We are fully ready for winter, but of course, accidents are not an exception, accidents can happen. All repair and restoration works have been carried out in our gas supply network regarding preparation for winter,” Rasim Ahmadov said.
