Starting today, the price of 1 liter of AI-95 gasoline will be AZN 1.60, that SOCAR released information about this on 30.06.2024, APA reports.
In order to bring the products produced in the processing complex of SOCAR to Euro-5 standards, the works on the initial stage of the reconstruction and modernization of the oil refinery named after Heydar Aliyev (NEZ) are about to be completed.
Works on the construction of diesel and gasoline production facilities of the project have been completed, a number of general plant facilities and technological facilities have been commissioned. As a result of the work carried out, the AI-92 and AI-95 brand gasolines produced at the refinery have already been brought up to Euro-5 standards.
With this, from 2014 to the present time, the domestic demand of AI-95 brand gasoline, which is met by imports at international prices, will be provided by domestic production.
It should be noted that until now, the price of 1 liter of domestically produced AI-95 gasoline according to Euro-5 quality indicators was AZN 2.
