OPEC slightly increased its forecast for global oil demand

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) slightly increased its daily global oil demand forecast for 2023-2024, APA-Economics reports citing the monthly report of OPEC.

Noted that this year the global daily oil demand is expected to be at the level of 102.11 mln. barrels, which is 0.05 million more than the previous forecast. In 2023, the growth rate of oil demand will be 2.46 million barrels (previous forecast – 2.44 million barrels).

According to the report, OPEC will increase the global oil demand by 104.36 mln. predicts that it will be at the level of 104,36 mln. barrels (an increase of 0.05 million barrels compared to the previous forecast indicator), which means an increase of 2.25 million barrels compared to the forecast indicator of 2023. (the forecast has not changed).
