The prices of oil futures rose on Wednesday as ongoing geopolitical tensions in the Middle East kept on lifting investors' worries about a possible escalation of conflict, which could disrupt the global supply of the commodity, APA reports citing CNBC.
West Texas Intermediate (WTI) for April contracts gained 1.13% to sell at $77.91 a barrel at 12:08 m ET. Brent for April deliveries climbed 0.62% to $82.85 per barrel.
