The International Energy Agency (IEA) has increased its forecast for global natural gas demand for 2024, APA-Economics citing the report of the Agency.
According to the information, this year the demand for global natural gas is expected to be at the level of 4,199 billion cubic meters, which is 8 billion cubic meters more than the previous forecast.
Thus, compared to the indicator of 2023, the global gas demand is expected to increase by 2.5% this year.
According to the report, global gas demand was 4,095 billion cubic meters last year, which is 0.7% more than the previous year.
