In the second quarter of this year, the average daily oil production in Azerbaijan was at the level of 470 thousand barrels, APA-Economics reports citing the report of the Energy Information Administration (EIA) under the US Department of Energy.
According to the report, the average daily oil production in Azerbaijan in the first quarter of this year was 470,000 barrels.
It is reported that the mentioned indicator was 520 thousand barrels in the first quarter of 2023, 500 thousand barrels in the second quarter, and 490 thousand barrels in the third and fourth quarters.
It should be recalled that in May 2024, the daily production of oil (including condensate) in Azerbaijan was 76,775 tons. 62,118 tons of this were crude oil, and 14,657 tons were condensate.
It should be noted that according to the agreement reached at the 36th meeting of the ministers of "OPEC+" (an initiative to reduce oil production involving OPEC and non-OPEC countries), Azerbaijan's production quota for 2024 is 551,000 (74,259 tons) barrels per day.
