It is not possible to install boiler houses everywhere in connection with heat supply, the Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, Dovletkhan Dovletkhanov said today at the public hearing organized by the Natural Resources, Energy, and Ecology Committee of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) regarding the new draft law on "Heat Supply," APA reports.
Dovletkhan Dovletkhanov stated that Article 14 of the new law sets out the conditions for connection to the network: "In 2021, regulations concerning residential buildings were adopted. Those regulations include a boiler system for heating and the hot water supply of buildings. At the same time, the normative document provides for the allowance of using a combi system in exceptional cases where it is impossible to connect buildings to a centralized heating system. We hope that such cases will be rare. After this law is adopted, these exceptional cases will be clarified. Since these cases are not currently defined in reality, it is impossible to ban them. As a rule, the installation of boiler houses is envisaged in connection with heat supply. However, this is not possible in all cases."
