Within the framework of the processing of the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) fields located in the Caspian Sea, more than 50 billion cubic meters of natural gas have been transferred to the state of Azerbaijan free of charge, said Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli, Vice President for the Caspian region, Communications and External Affairs of bp at the opening ceremony of a new laboratory at Baku Engineering University that bp opened in order to support the training of highly qualified specialists in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) and cyber security for Azerbaijan, APA reports.
According to him bp has so far produced more than 4.3 billion barrels of oil from ACG.
Bakhtiyar Aslanbayli also added that so far, more than 200 billion cubic meters of gas has been produced from the ShahDeniz gas-condensate field.
