In January-June of this year, revenue from freight transportation through the transport corridors crossing Azerbaijan amounted to 276,189.4 thousand manats, a 2.6% decrease in annual comparison, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistical Committee.
In the corresponding period of last year, the mentioned indicator was 283,558.9 thousand manats.
According to the information, during the reporting period, revenue from transit freight transportation through the transport corridors crossing Azerbaijan amounted to 177,003.4 thousand manats, representing a 1.2% decrease year-on-year.
Note that in the first half of this year, the volume of cargo transported through the transport corridors crossing Azerbaijan was 16,407.6 thousand tons, and the cargo turnover was 6,633.5 million ton-km. Compared to the same period last year, this represents a 0.2% increase in cargo volume and a 2.4% increase in cargo turnover.
