In January-July 2024, AZN 37.3 billion worth of industrial products were produced by industrial enterprises and individual entrepreneurs operating in this field, APA-Economics reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
Compared to the corresponding period of 2023, production in the oil and gas sector increased by 1.1%, and in the non-oil and gas sector by 8%.
According to information, 65% of the industrial output is in the mining sector, 29.3% in the processing sector, 4.8% in the electricity, gas and steam production, distribution and supply sector, and 0.9% in the water supply, produced in the waste treatment and processing sector.
It is noted that in the mining sector, the production of marketable oil decreased by 4.3%, while marketable gas production increased by 6.4%.
