A total of 852 thousand tons of oil has been produced over the past year from the Azeri Central East (ACE) platform located in the “Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli” (ACG) oil and gas-condensate field block, APA-Economics reports citing the Ministry of Energy.
“One year has passed since the start of first oil production from the Azeri Central East (ACE) platform. Approximately 852 thousand tons of oil have been produced to date from ACE, which is the seventh platform installed in the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field,” the statement notes.
It is stated that ACE is one of the most technologically and digitally advanced platforms. Its innovative design allows for the automation of labor-intensive processes, ensuring safer and more efficient operations.
