637,9 million tons of oil (with condensate) has been produced from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and Shahdeniz fields since commissioning until June 1, 2024. 591.6 million tons of oil was extracted from Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli and about 46.3 million tons of condensate from Shahdeniz, the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan told APA-Economics.
Approximately 635.9 million tons of it was transported for export until June 1, 2024.
According to the information, in January-May of 2024, 12 million tons of oil (with condensate) was produced in Azerbaijan. 6.8 million tons of oil production fell to ACG, 1.8 million tons (condensate) to Shahdeniz, and 0.25 million tons (condensate) to Absheron field. SOCAR's oil production (with condensate) amounted to 3.1 million tons.
“During reporting period, 9.9 million tons of oil (with condensate) was transported for export. 8,6 million tons of its shares fell on the consortium and 1,3 million tons of it fell to SOCAR,” – was noted in the information.
