Azerbaijan forecasts 11.3% drop in oil and gas revenues, anticipates 28.8% surge in non-oil sector over next three years

In the next 3 years, oil and gas revenues of Azerbaijan will decrease, and non-oil and gas revenues will increase, this was reflected in the overview and parameters of the state budget for 2025 and the next three years announced by the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Thus, if Azerbaijan's oil and gas revenues are predicted to be 17 billion 769 million manats in 2024, 17 billion 73 million manats in 2025, 16 billion 767 million manats in 2026, and 16 billion 555.4 million manats in 2027 and 15 billion 761.2 million manats in 2028. In other words, if the years 2024 and 2028 are compared, a decrease of 2 billion 7.8 million manats, i.e. 11.3 percent, is expected in oil and gas revenues.

Non-oil and gas revenues are predicted to be 18 billion 619 million manats in 2024, 19 billion 543 million in 2025, 21 billion 356.3 million in 2026, and 22 billion 596.5 million manats in 2027 and 23 billion 992.4 million manats in 2028. In other words, if we compare the years 2024 and 2028, an increase of 5 billion 373.4 million manats, i.e. more than 28.8 percent, is expected in non-oil and gas revenues.
