On June 2, the 30th Anniversary Baku Energy Week, the region's most prestigious energy event, kicked off at the Baku Expo Center, APA-Economics reports.
267 companies from 39 countries of the world participates in the event, which will last until June 4.
"Caspian Oil and Gas", "Caspian Power" exhibitions and "Baku Energy Forum" were organized as part of "Baku Energy Week". Panel discussions on digitalization, green energy, changes in the gas market, the results of COP29 and regional energy security are being held within the framework of the forum. The startup zone, environmental initiatives, business meetings in B2B and B2G formats, as well as a special speech by the well-known economist Kjell Nordström are among the highlights of this year's program. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary, scholarships will be awarded to young graduates and a tree-planting campaign will be organized within the framework of the event.
