From tomorrow, the election documents necessary for the registration of the candidate in the extraordinary parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan will be submitted to the district election commission, APA reports.
According to Articles 58.1 and 94.3.1 of the Election Code, a candidate or his/her authorized representative, an authorized representative of a political party, a bloc of political parties, must submit the election documents necessary for candidate registration to the district election commission no later than 50 and at least 30 days before the voting day by 18:00.
In connection with the extraordinary parliamentary elections, this period will cover the period from July 13 to August 2 at 18:00.
