“As a result of the excavations and monitoring carried out by the State Commission with the participation of experts during the current year in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, it was found that during the period from the signing of the tripartite Declaration to the anti-terrorist operation carried out in September 2023, several mass graves known to the State Commission and the ICRC were deliberately destroyed by the separatist regime,” said Ali Naghiyev, the chairman of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages, and Missing Persons, during his speech at the international conference on "Addressing the problems of missing persons: upholding the right to know for the families", APA reports.
