It has been proposed in the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) to reopen the Khojaly airport for operation, APA reports.
This proposal was made by MP Hikmat Babaoghlu during today’s session of the Milli Majlis.
The MP stated that the Khojaly airport holds symbolic significance for every Azerbaijani: “I believe that in the next stage, the reopening of Khojaly airport for operation will be included in the list of functioning airports. The opening of airports in Fuzuli and Lachin and the services they provide are of great importance.”
