The "Bulla-Deniz" field located in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea has produced more than 70.8 billion cubic meters of gas since its commissioning (as of April 1, 2025 - ed.), APA-Economics citing SOCAR.

According to the report, 12.5 million tons of oil (including condensate) were produced in the field during the reporting period.

According to the information, 9 wells are currently operating in the field, including 1 oil well and 8 gas-condensate wells. The wells are operated using the fountain method.

Note that the "Bulla-Deniz" field is located in the northern part of the Baku archipelago, 22-23 km from Cape Alat, 12-15 km from Bulla Island, and 10 km southeast of the "Sangachal-Deniz-Duvanni-Deniz-Khara Zira Island" field. The structure consists of a giant brachyanticlinal fold tectonically extending in a northwest-southeast direction, 9 km wide and 27 km long, with a height of 1,400 meters on the northeastern flank.

The depth of the sea here varies from 17 meters to 30 meters and more. The seabed slopes downwards towards the south-east. This rise was discovered in 1951 as a result of seismic exploration. The oil and gas content of the field was discovered through well No. 18 drilled in 1973. During testing, an average of 200 tons of condensate and 1,000,000 cubic meters of gas were obtained from this well from the 5203-5190 meters of horizon VII.
