After 4 days, on May 28, the restoration of Independence Day will be celebrated in Azerbaijan, Speaker of Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) Sahiba Gafarova said this at today's session of Parliament, APA reports.

"I suggest that we send congratulatory letters to President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva on the occasion of Independence Day," - she said.

The suggestion was accepted with applause.
