Azerbaijan doesn't discriminate against Armenian-origin citizens living in the territories liberated from occupation - CEC Chairman

"During the presidential elections, I wa strongly requesting all the international institutions, chiefly the OSCE mission, to go to the polling stations in the liberated territories," Chairman of the Central Election Commission of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mazahir Panahov said at a meeting dedicated to the opportunities for election campaigning and the basics of media entities' activities in the elections to the Milli Majlis, organized by the Central Election Commission (CEC), the Media Development Agency (MEDIA), the Audiovisual Council, and the Press Council, APA reports.

CEC Chairman noted that a polling station has been established in the city of Khankandi as well: "We have established excellent polling stations there. Once again, we do not discriminate against our Armenian-origin citizens living there, they can participate in the elections. This is the first Milli Majlis elections that we can also call it Victory elections. Next time, we will conduct voting at polling stations across all of Azerbaijan's sovereign territory. There are 55 permanent polling stations in the liberated territories, and we will establish additional mobile polling stations for 5 days."
