The fact that the musical work of the Azerbaijani composer Bahram Nasibov called "Garabagh" ("Mother of dreams is always Garabagh") was appropriated and performed by the Armenian singer Gor Yepremyan under the name "Sirun jan" and distributed on YouTube was investigated by the Intellectual Property Agency, the Agency told APA.
According to the reports, first of all, the Agency's experts, people's artists of the Republic of Azerbaijan, composers Faig Sujaddinov and Eldar Mansurov immediately reacted to the next Armenian theft. According to their analysis, it was determined that B. Nasibov's work "Garabagh" was written in the style of mugham chahargah, and the song "Sirun jan" performed by the Armenian performer coincides with B. Nasibov's work "Garabagh". Armenians are trying to expropriate the song. Experts once again confirm that the title of B. Nasibov's work "Garabagh" was changed by Armenians to "Sirun jan" and distorted.
They inform that "Garabagh" is a song written by Bahram Nasibov and first performed by Arif Babayev in 1972.
The song "Garabagh"is one of the most famous songs of the Azerbaijani composer Bahram Nasibov. The song "Garabagh", whose music and lyrics belong to Bahram Nasibov, was registered in the Intellectual Property Agency on June 2, 1972 (the Agency was called the Azerbaijan Republic Branch of the All-Union Copyright Agency at that time) and is known as Azerbaijani music.
