The management of YouTube, YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, and other digital music platforms have confirmed that the song "Garabagh" ("Anadır arzulara hər zaman Qarabağ") belongs to Azerbaijani composer Bahram Nasibov with its lyrics and music, according to the Intellectual Property Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
The mentioned platforms have confirmed the infringement of B. Nasibov's copyright by Armenian performer Gor Yepremyan and the Azerbaijani composer's violated rights have been restored.
It was reported that, as a result of the actions taken with the support of the Agency, the technical assistance provided by the "Digital and Audiovisual Broadcasting Industry" Public Union (RAYS) - https://rays.az/, which was accredited by the Agency on behalf of the composer Bahram Nasibov's heir Adil Nasibov, led to a request to the YouTube administration. Consequently, due to the infringement of B. Nasibov's copyright, the song "Sirun Jan" performed by Gor Yepremyan was removed from the YouTube platform by YouTube and from digital music platforms including YouTube Music, Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Deezer by the distributor company CD BABY.
It was noted that the music of the song "Aghji Jan" performed by Harout Pamboukjian overlaps with the music of the song "Garabagh" ("Anadır arzulara hər zaman Qarabağ") by Azerbaijani composer B. Nasibov. As a result, the song was removed from the YouTube platform by YouTube.
