The amount of travel expenses of the members of the Organizing Committee within the framework of the COP29 events has been determined, the Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov has signed a decision on this, APA reports.
“According to the decision, in connection with the holding of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), the 19th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol and the 6th session of the Meeting of the Parties to the Paris Agreement in Baku, members of the Organizing Committee established by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 4264 dated January 13, 2024, as well as members of the delegation consisting of responsible representatives formed by the President of those sessions to conduct preparatory work, during 2024-2025 years within the framework of the COP29 events, when being sent to New York, Washington, Geneva, Davos, Rio de Janeiro, Abu Dhabi, Sydney, Tokyo, London, Madrid, Paris, Rome, Vienna, Singapore, Nuku'alofa, an additional payment of 50% (percent) of the daily norm of working visit expenses determined for those cities shall be made in addition to the one-day norm of their working visit expenses.”
This Decision is applicable from August 1, 2024.
