"Azerbaijan's international influence is increasing, this year Azerbaijan will host one of the world's largest events, COP29," President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said at the inaugural meeting of the Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan High Intergovernmental Council, APA reports.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev stated that this is the first such large summit to be held in the region.
“This is, once again, an indication of your successful foreign policy. I wish you great success. We are also preparing very seriously for this summit,” the Uzbek President emphasized.
