"As the country presiding over COP29, I congratulate Azerbaijan for its efforts and the work done in preparing this very important global conference on Climate Action, and I appreciate its efforts for COP29," Peter Michalko, Ambassador at Delegation of the European Union to Azerbaijan told APA within the framework of the March for Climate Action meeting.
"I am also very happy to participate in the Baku Climate Action Week, which conveys the importance of this issue and our collective efforts to the public. I also appreciate the efforts of the organizing team and the work of COP29 Senior Climate Champion Nigar Arpadarai. The European Union will continue close cooperation with Azerbaijan during the high-level presidency of COP29 in order to achieve the successful results of this very important global conference and the goals that are very important for the future of our planet," the ambassador noted.
