The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan, together with its partners, is conducting work in two directions within the framework of preparations for the 29th session of the UN Conference of Parties on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Baku, said Deputy Minister of Energy Orkhan Zeynalov, speaking at the 12th International Caspian Energy Forum, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the first direction is related to the energy initiatives of the presidency's agenda at COP29. The second area is directly related to the energy events that will be organized during and before COP29.
The deputy minister also noted that the Ministry of Energy plans to hold a total of 15 events within the framework of COP29.
