In order to discuss the main issues on the COP29 agenda, informal consultations at the level of heads of delegations were held in Shamakhi on July 26-27, APA reports.
At the event, the chairman of the Scientific and Technological Advisory body of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), representatives and experts of the UNFCCC Secretariat, the ministers responsible for climate issues of Bangladesh and Barbados, as well as more than 40 countries that preside over international negotiation groups and are active in climate negotiations participated.
