Chairman of Caucasus Muslims' Board Sheikhulislam Allahshukur Pashazade is on a visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, CMB told APA.
According to the information, within the framework of the visit carried out at the invitation of Saudi Arabia's Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, Sheikh Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al Alsheikh, CMB Chairman A. Pashazadeh attended the international conference on the Role of Foundations and Islamic Affairs Institutions in Strengthening the Principles of Moderation.
Sheikhulislam A. Pashazadeh has held a number of meetings in Mecca within the framework of the conference. During a meeting with the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the President of the conference, Abdullatif Al Alsheikh, CMB Chair conveyed the greetings of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev. Sheikhulislam provided detailed information about the COP-29, which will be held in Baku this November, and invited the minister to the Summit of Religious Leaders planned to take place within the event.
