Each country should actively participate in finding effective solutions for climate financing during COP29 and present its strategy, Tina Stege, the Special Envoy for Climate Change Issues of the Government of the Marshall Islands said during the Climate and Development Ministerial Conference held as part of PreCOP, APA reports.
"As mentioned at this event, the fight against climate change is the responsibility not only of government agencies but also of non-governmental organizations and international financial institutions. The key issue here is that the parties participating in COP29 should fully recognize this responsibility in order to achieve a common outcome in the field of global climate financing. The problems our planet faces in this area can only be overcome through effective financing methods. Each country should actively participate in finding effective solutions for climate financing during COP29 and present its strategy."
