"The Baku Global Climate Transparency Platform (BTP) launches today to ensure transparency in climate reporting," Lead Negotiator of COP29 Yalchin Rafiyev said during a High-Level Dialogue on Climate Transparency held ahead of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties (COP29) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), APA reports.
He stated that all processes must be conducted transparently: "Parties must submit the climate change reports by December. Today, we have established a platform for the successful submission of these reports. The Baku Global Climate Transparency Platform launches today. Our main goal is to ensure stronger relationships and communication among parties. Transparency and cooperation are among our goals," he noted.
