The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) continues to perform its duties related to the preparation for the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change - COP29, which will be held in Baku in November, the Press Service of the Ministry said in response to APA's inquiry.
It was noted that for this purpose, in January of the current year, the Headquarters, which includes the senior officials of the Ministry, and working groups consisting of professional specialists in relevant fields were established in the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the Action Plan was prepared and approved: "Regular consultations are held under the leadership of the Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, the reports of the staff members on the work done are presented and discussed extensively, the necessary tasks are given to solve the relevant security issues, and their implementation is monitored."
It was also noted that MES has completed most of the work related to the preparation for COP29.
