Azerbaijan's climate initiatives to be presented at UN General Assembly in coming days

"One of the most important proposals among global initiatives is the Water for Climate Action initiative,” said Elmar Mammadov, co-chairman of the global initiatives group of the COP29 Action Agenda, during his speech at the 12th International "Caspian Energy Forum" held today in Baku, APA reports.

He said that it is planned to create two coalitions at the global level. This coalition between COP presidents will ensure continuity of the theme at the level of cities and in the context of health: “In the coming days, the “Summit of the Future” will be organized within the framework of the UN General Assembly. These initiatives put forward by Azerbaijan will be presented.”
