Economy Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mikayil Jabbarov met with the Vice President of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) Ludger Schuknecht, the ministry told APA-Economics.
At the meeting, it was emphasized that effective cooperation has continued since 2016, when Azerbaijan became a member of the Bank. Ensuring sustainable development, including the transition to green economy, promotion of green energy, as well as the work done in Azerbaijan within the framework of preparation for COP29, were brought to attention. Opportunities for joint work and partnership were discussed within the framework of COP29. Priority pojects within the framework of cooperation with the bank were briefed.
