The U.S. government has doubled its funding ceiling for Armenia to promote the development of democracy and the economy in the country, APA reports citing Armenia's First Channel News.
The United States and the Republic of Armenia amended their joint Development Objectives Grant Agreement (DOAG) to increase USAID’s estimated contribution from $120 million to $250 million.
The expanded agreement will include key areas such as disaster readiness, cyber security, food and energy security, regional cooperation and trade, democratic transitions, and inclusive economic development.
